9 hour+ shifts at a vet hospital is so overwhelming when you have no idea what the fuck youre doing. but im finally kinda sorta starting to get the feel of things. I survived my first week and let me tell you, pima did not prepare me for SHIT. class was a piece of cake compared to what we have to do in a hospital. they just throw your ass in the fire and expect you to just know everything within a short amount of time and I cant believe how fast all the rvts are trusting me to do so much this soon. im not complaining though i benefit from the ass burning but damn..it was so sad i had to put a dog to sleep today for the first time :( i had to be professional and not cry and i swear i thought i was good but as one of the rvts were running to get me a syringe, leaving me alone with the dog, out of nowhere he licked my hand very softly. like it was a very weak lick because he was so sick but idk it was the way he licked me if you cld jst feel how it felt man and the way he looked at me, it was hard.. really hard that shit killed me i felt my lips trembling eyes getting watery and all i did was literally just kept trying to think of really really dirty thoughts so i can keep my composure. which I did. But shit.. it was the saddest thing ive ever had to do in my life.
